CODE OF ETHICS

 

 

 

1. The appraiser will accept an appraisal assignment only if the appraisal
can be performed without bias.
2. The appraiser shall disclose any interest in the subject property.
3. The appraiser shall obtain all relevant facts relating to the subject
property in order to form the final analysis of value.
4. The appraiser shall respect and maintain the confidential nature of an
appraisal report. The contents of the report shall not be disclosed to the
third parties unless by a court order, or by consent from the client.
5. The appraiser shall not access any "prohibited fee" in seeking
compensation for a report.
6. The appraiser shall maintain and demonstrate respect for others in the
appraisal profession.
